Shame! Shame Shame!

Sorry guys, club has been....inactive for a bit....5 weeks I think. Well...you know...school. And it's the semester is almost over so, here is to updating the club more often!

So...Anyways, I still want to have a contest...HOWEVER, I am looking for someone who wants to be a prize artist! If anyone is interested send me a note over at my name ~irishgal487 ...I prefer you send it there as the fact of the matter is, I'm on that name all the time...so why not!

Hello again Azula Fans!

So I have noticed there is alot of favs in our gallery...So..If you are a member and you do have something form out gallery in your favorites, please remove it...OR if you do see someone with something from our gallery in their favorites...ask them (NICELY!) to remove it, or contact me...either the club or my regular DA account.


ANY WAYS!....So..Halloween is this week..which means next week kick starts to holiday season! Might be thinking about having a contest. What do you think?

If you haven't already guessed it, I have no longer been able to keep up with the club. I am terribly sorry to all of you. I've been so busy lately with school and work and other devotions that I haven't been able to check things or submit stuff...

It's been fun though! I have enjoyed moderating this club.

Anyways... I'm not sure whether or not to pass the torch (OMG firebending pun XD) to somebody else or to close the club altogether. If you're interested, note me at my official account, ~General-Blue. I'll ask you some questions and we'll see what happens from there.

Hello loyal fans of Azula! It's been awhile since I've updated anything, and I must apologize for that. I have no excuse for the delay, except that I am a slackermuffin. I will try much harder from now on... even though the series ends on Saturday.

Which reminds me... HAPPY AVATAR WEEK! Finally, all of our questions will be answered! Personally I am excited to see what happens with everybody's favorite evil firebending princess... *coughAzulacough*... and I'm sure the Finale is going to be absolutely AMAZING!!!

Finally, I want your opinions. Would you like to have a contest after the Finale to celebrate the amazing character that has been Azula? Do you have any suggestions on how Azula-fans can be made better? Anything goes... just drop me a comment or send me a note! (Except please don't declare your undying hatred of me... only 'Zula is allowed to do that!)

Hey everyone! For some reason, I was convinced that the Modern Azula contest ended on the 21st, not the 19th. But... I just went and checked and I was wrong. Don't worry- if you sent in a submission, I'm going to finish submitting those today. If you want to turn in a submission, you still can today. We'll start the voting tomorrow (And I'll make sure I remember that! )

In more exciting news, we have an awesome prize artist for the contest named Yay!

EDIT: Turns out I forgot what today's date was as well! I apologize for any confusion. I really need to get a planner...

Second, we still need a prize artist! We are going to have a first and second place prize. The first should be a completely colored piece of Avatar-related fanart, while the second will be a sketch.

I'm not sure if anyone cares, but I'm going to be alternating the 'Featured Deviation' every week or so.

I was thinking of having a journal that features some of the great Azula fanart going around DevArt, but I just realized I don't have a subscription for the club at the moment. Don't worry- I'm going to try to buy one as soon as possible!

Long time no see! Sorry for any delays in getting in your submissions. I have been quite busy, but thankfully Spring Break is next week, so I hope to add new things to the club!

In latest news- we are well past our 100th member! (122 in fact!) Thanks to all you loyal Azula fans!

Hopefully everyone's New Year is off to a great start! I intended to have voting for the Christmas Azula contest done awhile ago, but since I wasn't able to check the club like I had wanted to, I didn't get to see it until today. It turns out that there is a tie for the third place winner, and since I don't want to make the gift artist overwork his or herself, voting will be extended until this Friday, so VOTE! ...please?

One month left until the contest ends! I really hope we can get more entries for Contest One, but I'm really glad with all the stuff you guys have sent in!

Rules
1. You can submit an entry into both contests, but you will only be able to win one contest.
2. You may only submit two submissions in each contest.

The first contest will be a picture in which Azula is in a battle with another character. This will be an one-on-one battle, not a group battle, and she can be fighting any other character (your choice!) I'm sure that there is plenty of creative freedom with this one and remember to have fun!

The winner's picture will be Azula-fans Featured Deviation!

Contest Two

The second contest is for our new ID. The picture should have only Azula in it and I would like it if you would have the words 'Azula fans' somewhere on the picture, but you don't have to.

The winners of the two contests will get their choice of an Avatar-related drawing done by !

If you've read the newest all-Avatar magazine, there is a column called 'Ask Azula'. Me and *Golden-Flute of have thought of doing advice columns ourselves. Since this is an Azula fan club, it would only be fitting that Azula be giving the advice!

Rules

To ask Azula a question, send a note to the club entitled 'Ask'.

Please keep your questions appropriate! Don't ask anything gross or stupid (though if you wanted to send in something funny, it would probably give everyone a good laugh! ^_^)

Please create an alias. That way, everyone is anonymous and they can keep their privacy. If you do not create an alias for yourself, I will.

Please limit your number of questions to one per week.

If there are too many questions being asked, 'Azula' might not get to yours right away, so just be patient.

I will probably update the 'Ask Azula' journal once every week. If I am not able to get to it that week, please be patient. I usually try to check the club as often as I can, so hopefully that will not be a problem.
